New Delhi: The Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) has sought a status report, including details of arrests made, from the police in connection with the killing of a woman whose body was found near Shantivan area. The body of the woman, in her 20s, was found in central Delhi on Monday and the police were also suspecting sexual assault, though an autopsy was yet to be carried out.

The DCW, in its notice, issued to Daryaganj police has sought to know if guards were manning the park where her body was found, and how the deceased and her killer entered the park at night. The women's panel also asked if CCTV cameras were installed in and around the park and if the family of the girl has been identified.

"If yes, the commission would request a meeting with them in order to support them," the notice said. The DCW has asked the police to submit the details to it by May 19
