New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Keshav Prasad Maurya was on Thursday admitted in the ICU ward of Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital in Delhi.

The hospital issued a statement, saying Maurya has problems related to blood pressure and would remain under observation today.

The hospital said Maurya would be discharged tomorrow.

Maurya is being considered as one of the front-runners for the chief minister's post after the BJP and its allies rallied to a landslide win in 325 out of the state's 403 constituencies.
