Father, son killed after car hits speeding SUV at Delhi’s Jaitpur area
According to reports, the deceased have been identified as Trilok Chand (50) and Vikas Tiwari (21).
New Delhi: A father-son duo died on Wednesday after their car hit a speeding SUV in Delhi’s Jaitpur area and caught fire after the accident. Six others were injured in the car crash. According to police, both the cars were reportedly speeding.
As per reports, the deceased have been identified as Trilok Chand (50) and Vikas Tiwari (21).
The incident happened at 2 am when Chand along with six of his family members were returning from a wedding ceremony in his car. Delhi Fire Services’ personnel rushed to the site. They had to use gas cutters to rescue people trapped inside the mangled vehicle.
Police informed that the injured have been shifted to Apollo hospital where their treatment is currently underway.
