Teacher damages student’s ear, sacked

According to the police, the victim, Kuber Jain, is a student of Bhai Parmanad School in Anand Vihar.

NEW DELHI: In a shocking incident, a teacher of a private school slapped a Class 3 student, damaging his ear.

According to the police, the victim, Kuber Jain, is a student of Bhai Parmanad School in Anand Vihar. He got admission in the school under the economically weaker sections (EWS) quota.

On December 21, the teacher had slapped the student for “lacking discipline.” The slap was so hard that it injured the student’s ear.

Sources said that the school didn’t take any action even when the victim was experiencing immense pain, with blood coursing from his injured ear. The teacher was later suspended, and a police case has been registered.
