Two minors held for Snatching purse, valuables recovered
Police further said that the snatched purse containing mobile phone and Rs 1300 was recovered from the two.
New Delhi: The staff of police station Dabri has appreheded two juveniles in conflict with law and recovered one purse containing mobile phone and Rs 1300 from their possession.
According to the police, a complaint was received on April 9, that at about 8.50 PM, a lady was walking with her mother at Mahavir Enclave. When they reached near Sulabh International, two unknown boys came from opposite side and snatched her purse and fled from the spot. She raised an alarm and started chasing them but she couldn't catch them. The beat officer, Ct. Devender, who was on patrolling, heard the noise and chased the alleged boys and apprehended one of them while other succeeded in escaping.
Police further said that the snatched purse containing mobile phone and Rs 1300 was recovered from the two.
On enquiry, the alleged was found to be a JCL. A case under the head of snatching has been registered at Police Station Dabri and investigation was taken up. The associate apprehended was found to be a JCL.
