New Delhi: A fire broke out on the 6th floor of Vikas Bhawan at Central Delhi's ITO again due to a short circuit on Monday, said Delhi Fire Service (DFS).

The DFS received a call about the fire at around 12.10 PM. Five fire tenders were rushed to spot and the blaze was brought under control, Atul Garg, Chief Fire Officer said.

A technical snag in one of the air conditioners led to the fire, he said adding no injury or casualty were reported.

This is the second time that fire broke out at Vikas Bhawan, Central Delhi’s ITO within 15 days. Last week on March 6 a fire broke out in the CGO complex in the national capital and claimed the life of one CISF personnel.
