Woman rams car into Uber cab, 5 hurt
According to the police, they received a PCR call about the accident at around 1:20 am, at Punjabi Bagh police station.
New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a female drunk driver crashed her vehicle into another car and injured five persons, including a woman and minor. The accident happened in West Delhi’s Punjabi Bagh area late on Saturday night.
According to the police, they received a PCR call about the accident at around 1:20 am, at Punjabi Bagh police station. After reaching the spot, it was found that the accident involved an Uber cab and a Honda Amaze. The accident injured the cab driver and a family of four. All the injured persons were shifted to Maharaja Agrasen Hospital.
During investigation, it was revealed that the family was going home. When their cab reached Madipur, a Honda Amaze, which was coming from wrong side, collided into the cab.
The complainants alleged that a girl was driving the car. The police has registered a case and the girl, a resident of Paschim Vihar, has been arrested. According to the accused, she was returning from a party when the accident occured.
