New Delhi: Two days after 23-year-old model-cum-photographer was murdered in full public view, many BJP leaders on Saturday visited the family members of Ankit. Delhi BJP president Manoj Tiwari on Saturday  met the family members of Saxena, who was killed by those opposing his love affair with a girl, and expressed condolence on behalf of the BJP family. During his meeting with the family members, Mr Tiwari got to know that the parents of the photographer too were severely hurt during the attack, but the Delhi Government made no arrangement for their treatment.

Mr Tiwari also questioned the “silence” of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal. “It is sad to see such incidents in the national capital. The silence of the chief minister and several NGOs in the matter indicates that these people speak on issues only when it suits their political interests,” Mr Tiwari charged.

During the meeting, Mr Tiwari also informed the family about the arrangements his party was making for the treatment of Saxena’s mother.

“The family called the ambulance helpline  but they got no help,” said the Delhi BJP.
