18-yr-old girl, aides arrested for forgery
The gang was running fake maid placement service in Janakpuri area of West Delhi with multiple names.
New Delhi: An 18-year-old girl along with her two male accomplices were arrested for duping several people on the pretext of providing domestic help, said DCP (West) Monika Bharadwa on Sunday adding that the gang was known as Bhagam Bhag.
The arrested accused were identified as Kajal (18), A.M. Bahadur alias Ashok (22), and Mukesh (25). They were running fake maid placement service in Janak Puri area of West Delhi with multiple names to avoid any risk.
The gang’s modus oper-andi was that they contact victims who were in need of domestic helps, after that they went to their houses along with maids and take security amount ranging from Rs 20000 to 25000, and later leave behind the maid at the house.
Later after couple of hours, the maid would also flee away from the residence of the victim. Based upon the call data records (CDR) and other information, the trio were arrested on Satur-day from Nihal Vihar.
