Road rage: Hotel guard assaulted by two youth

New Delhi: In a shocking incident of road rage, a hotel guard was brutally thrashed by two youth in the Karol Bagh area on Thursday. The victim, a security guard, has been identified as Dileep Kumar Pandey. The incident happened at the reception of Sun Star Regency hotel in Karol Bagh.

According to the police, the victim was helping cops in clearing the traffic congestion in  front of the hotel. It was at that time when he had a heated argument with two youth. The youth, who were on a two wheeler, kicked, slapped, and punched the guard. The guard immediately rushed inside the hotel, and called the PCR.

The victim further added that the accused after some time returned with their associates and brutally thrashed the victim inside the hotel.

Later on, the PCR staff took the victim to the hospital. He was released later after primary medication. The police has registered a case on basis of a statement given by the victim.
