The passenger along-with all his documents was handed over to IGI immigration officials. He was offloaded and handed over to Delhi Police.

New Delhi : A man has been arrested on Tuesday at the Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) on charge of involvement in human trafficking, CISF said on Thursday.

The passenger has been identified as Parmider Chandhar. 

“The CISF apprehended a passenger clearing immigration from domestic departure immigration counter with a passport. The person cleared immigration and received the boarding pass of Mumbai-bound Air India flight number 315 at 11.05 pm. 

He boarding the said flight from gate number 21. Immediately, a CISF surveillance and intelligence unit approached gate number 15, where the suspect was waiting for Air Canada flight number AC 043 at 12.45 am, bound for Toronto. 

He disclosed that he was bound for Toronto by an Air Canada flight and had a passport in the name of Gurpreet Singh. He said after clearing immigration on a domestic boarding pass, he proceeded to clear pre-embarkation security check area on the boarding pass of Air Canada flight. 

The passenger along-with all his documents was handed over to IGI immigration officials. He was offloaded and handed over to Delhi Police.
