People more willing to give up sex for cyber security: study

Two of every five millennials also revealed they were ready to not have intercourse for a year in exchange for a hack-free life.

For many Americans, safeguarding personal online data is far more important than an active sex life. A recent survey revealed that round 39 per cent of Americans are ready to forgo a basic human desire in exchange for a hack-free online experience.

The online poll was conducted by Harris Poll for a password-management company Dashlane. The survey however revealed a difference in this preference along the lines of gender with 34 per cent of men saying that they were willing to give up a year of sexual activity for a life-long internet security compared to 44 per cent of women.

Interestingly, two of every five millennials also revealed they were ready to not have intercourse for a year in exchange for cyber security for the rest of their lives, reports cnet.com.
