The woman who comes to eat the restaurant every Saturday with her husband suffers from Huntington's disease
There are very few people today who take time out from their daily schedule to help a person in need, if they see one. So, every time a person does something nice it surprises many people who notice. A diner recently saw a random act of kindness that actually made her day. An disabled woman was being fed by a server working at the same restaurant while her husband ate his food peacefully.
According to a report in the Metro, a diner, Keshia Dotson was busy eating at a local restaurant when she saw the kindest thing in a long time. She saw a server at the restaurant sitting and patiently feeding a disabled woman while her husband sat near and continued eating his meal. Keshia went up to the old man and lady whose names are Dale and Ma and had a small chat with them. Dale told her that the server, Joe, 43 has been helping Ma eating for a while now so that her husband can enjoy his food.
Ma suffers from Huntington’s disease, a genetic disorder that affects nerve cells in the brain. The couple however comes every Saturday to the restaurant and are served their food and Joe takes on his role so that Dale doesn’t get too troubled with feeding his wife.
