My sister is my lifeline and guide, says Jayashree Venkataramanan

My sister Subasri. She is everything to me. Everybody has heard that story of a King's life in a parrot. Well, she is that for me, my lifeline. It’s a myth that elders always guide the younger ones. Well, in my case, my sister who is about 6-7 years younger, does that for me.

She has been someone who has not just taken care of me but has handled me and lifted me up and how during the most difficult times of mine. She doesn’t think twice about sacrificing a lot of things in her life just to be there with me when I need her the most. Gosh! Sounds like she is a parent to me.
