Two adults come up with brilliant Plan B to save calf from drowning
Elephants have been known to be great parents. They have been known to go to great lengths when it came to the protection of their calves.
Now a stunning video has surfaced online where a pair of adult elephants can be seen trying to save their young calf from drowning in a large pool at Grand Park Zoo in Seoul.
The calf which was too close to the pool for a sip of water with its mum slipped and fell in causing the adults in the near vicinity to panic and do everything they can to protect it.
While the first elephant is seen trying to save it, almost immediately, another adult rushes to the scene to help the drowning calf, who was barely afloat. The grown-ups concluded that entering the pool from the other side would be effective, after which they tried to use their trunks to help the baby elephant. When that didn’t work, they came up with an alternate and brilliant plan.
