Student dies while clicking selfie
The students family rushed to the concerned police station on Monday morning.
A class twelve student fell into a waterfall and died in Jharkhands Latehar district while clicking a selfie on his mobile.
The 19-year-old had gone to the waterfall at Suggabandh with about ten friends last evening and climbed a rocky stretch to click the selfie but lost his balance and slipped into the waterfall, police said today.
His friends had allegedly sought help from the locals but as none was forthcoming they rushed back to their homes at Daltonganj and informed their parents.
The students family rushed to the concerned police station this morning. A search was launched and the students body was found, the police added. A case has been registered in this regard.
