Months after Shashi Tharoor made headlines for his mind-boggling linguistic skills by introducing the Indian social media to words like ‘exasperating farrago’, the Congress MP is in the news again as he seems to have coined a term describing people whose main source of information is almost anything on the internet.

Showing a penchant for some wordplay this time in Hinglish, Tharoor tweeted a term ‘Webaqoof’ with a definition that described someone who accepts every word or piece of information on the social media as the gospel truth.

Although the word isn’t a Tharoor original and is available on a website called urbandictionary.com, the tweet created a buzz on social media as people couldn’t stop talking about Tharoor’s wit and how he always comes back against trolls.

Few also came up with their own witty reactions to Tharoor’s take on internet users who often jump the gun.
