Let there be gleaming light

Lighting in modern interior designing trend is synonymous to energy efficiency. In such a design, light requirement is abundant to highlight the focal point in a space. This applies to natural light as well as artificial light. Light tone finishes and simple ceilings reflect this light throughout the space, making each room feel larger.

There are a few elements that need to be kept in mind for lighting design. Just choosing the right light products is not enough. Using every product in the right way is as important as the fixture itself.

Innovative use of LED Linear Profiles
LED Linear Profile lights are versatile and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. Lighting trend in 2019 will witness the rise of sculptural-shaped lighting. Traditional light designs restrained by supporting the classic light bulb will be a thing of the past. Pendant lights and chandeliers in sculptural shape add character to a space. Clean lines with dynamic geometric-shaped lights can be made using different materials such as metal and wood.

Return of industrial style light designs
Industrial style light designs are making an entry in commercial as well as residential spaces. Metals like copper and brass are widely used in creating these designs because of their versatility. Filament LED bulbs used in these designs make them cost effective, and provide a rustic touch to modern interiors. The edgy designs also work well with existing interiors of a place.

Smart lighting
LEDs deliver high efficiency and help reduce energy price. However, technological advancement in energy efficient lighting has emerged in the way of smart lighting. Today, a handheld mobile phone can be used to control and adjust lighting, hence optimising energy consumption. Virtual assistants such as Siri, Google Home, Alexa etc. execute lighting control through voice commands.
