9-foot-long king cobra weighing 4.1 kg pulled out of van in China

Snakes are terrifying creatures not just because of their ability to cause fatalities but also because they can sneak into any space. From refrigerators to air conditioners and airplanes, snakes have managed to shock people by crawling inside unexpected place.

A police officer in China was called in to tackle a cobra hiding inside a minivan when the driver spotted it under the seat. The cop removed a king cobra which was a shocking nine-foot-long and weighed 4.1 kg.

The serpent slid into the glove compartment when the officer reached in to catch it. But he used tongs to successfully capture and pull the cobra out of the van.

The cobra was held by the head and placed in a mesh cage before being handed over to the local wildlife preservation department.
