After father was killed by motorist who fell asleep, son posts video
Ash said that apart from the van driver, the company that let him work so many hours at a stretch was also to blame for his father's death.
Road accidents claim millions of lives across the world every year and even after so many tragedies, many don’t seem to avoid rash driving as well as negligence.
Ash Wakefield lost his father when a motorist fell asleep at the wheel and smashing a van into his father. Now he is trying to warn people against such driving by posting a video of the shocking accident on Facebook.
Christopher Trusler, the driver responsible for the crash, was awake for 14 hours after working a night shift and immediately starting a day shift. He has been jailed for two years and has received a four year driving ban.
The footage shows two cars driving along before David Wakefield’s car and Trusler’s van crashed into each other. Ash believes that apart from Trusler the company allowing him to work for so many hours is also responsible for his father’s death.
