Music is something that has often been seen as an effective way to express and evoke certain emotions in people. While it has been used for various purposes including celebration, the full extent of its effect isn’t yet known.

In what may seem like a scene straight out of a Bollywood movie, a woman in China woke up from a coma after hearing a song by a popular Taiwanese singer. The 24-year-old had been in that state since four months due to brain dysfunction caused by lack of oxygen.

The nurse attending her was trying to revive the woman by cracking jokes and reading entertainment news to her. He then went on to play the song hoping she may enjoy it and it managed to pull off a miracle.

The staff was surprised when she first moved her feet in response to the music and ultimately regained consciousness.
