It is not uncommon for partners to share stories after they have sex and most often it is their most embarrassing stories that they haven’t told many people. It is quite funny that most people wouldn’t tell these very same stories otherwise but there is a reason and research makes a very interesting revelation.

According to a report in Refinery29, one of the primary reasons for sharing really personal instances from your life post-sex is because sex makes people gain each other’s trust. It helps people break down walls and talk about everything they have wanted to speak out to somebody who would be willing to listen. Sex is mainly the stimuli that makes people want to over-share than what usually would to their partners if they are not ready. If individuals feel embarrassed, it is completely normal as it is only after they have shared their story do they realise it and might just share a laugh.
