Living with diabetes can be tough and injections for taking medication make it even more painful. Medical advances over the past few years have made life better for people with major ailments and now scientists have come up with a way to help diabetics.

After several failed attempts at creating oral diabetes medication, a new insulin pill may be the answer to painful jabs. The pill can survive the stomach’s acidic environment and release insulin in the blood.

The pill may help overcome pain and needle phobia some diabetics face. It isn’t known when it will be available and if it will help type 1 or 2 diabetes patients.
