Monsoon Calling!

Monsoon is synonymous with words like dull, gloomy, cold and wet. This tends to bring our moods down drastically. But not anymore! Along with being all of these things, monsoon also brings relief from summer, rainbows, lightening etc. And with nail art becoming creative every other second, monsoon gives us inspiration to do nail art that is sure to make people envious. Here are a few monsoon inspired nail art trends that are big this season.

Thunder bolts: It has become sort of a norm to sip on something hot while watching the rain pour down and lightening strike. This season, why not bring those bolts on your nails. Use cheery and colourful nail paints like electric blues, vibrant yellows and fluorescent pinks to brighten up your day.

Cloudy Nails: Are you not into bright colours? Fret not! Blue and white nail paint make for the perfect cloudy nails. With a blue base to represent the sky, draw fluffy clouds on top and finish off with a top coat to ensure your design stays put for long.

Raindrop nails: Don’t you just love watching the rain fall from those water laden clouds? Well if you do then these nails are perfect for you. All you need is an electric blue colour and top coat. Paint your nails with the blue and add drops of top coat to look like rain drops.

Rainbow: Once your done with the rain, next comes the rainbow. Though you don’t get to see them often now, you can have them on your nails. Add a base colour that will allow your rainbow colours to pop. Strip on the colours in whichever way you like. Finish off with a top coat.
