: The colourful and energetic festival of Navratri is approaching its end after days of song and dance. Meanwhile Mumbai has a reputation for giving its own vibrant flavour to every culture and festivities, and it seems to have done the same to Navratri.
Initially a part of Gujarati celebrations of Navratri, garba has risen to become a well renowned dance form, as people across the country and different parts of the world have been seen dancing to garba beats.
Now, a video of a group of women performing garba in a local train is creating a buzz on the social media, as it brings Mumbai’s lifeline and the vivid festivities together.
