The travel start-up, White Collar Hippie has arranged an offbeat travel experience for the camping enthusiasts. Located off the Gorai beach, Uttan, a coastal town housing the fishing community of Kolis in Thane district is the campsite which is equipped with modern loos and open roof showers. Enjoy the daylong camping activities where one will get a chance to reconnect with nature.
“Strike a conversation with the locals on our village walk. Take a boat out to the sea or swim in the resort pool. Want to know more about big boats Drop in at the boat-building yard nearby. If a quiet, lazy weekend is what you yearn, let our big fat horde of books, cozy blankets and hammocks keep you company. You could choose to chill by yourself, disconnect with acquaintances and/or make new ones, make smore’s and barbecues by the evening, sing, dance and make merry while the band entertains you through the night, strum a guitar or just enjoy the vibe,” suggests Vikrant Chheda, director of the startup.

Sarita Dhillon: My first experience with WCH was at their campsite in Uttan! It was love at first sight, I must say. Nestled amid a nearly-jungle environ, it is a lovely and sprawling place, just right for unwinding from the city grind. The events planned (it was a band when I went) and everything else, right from food to people to facilities to the overall set-up, all make you feel warm and welcome. And you are certain to come back completely refreshed, with sweet memories!
