This is in reference to the report about legendary Pakistani batsman Javed Miandad lashing out at the BCCI, saying that it is not keen on reviving the UAE series as India is afraid of losing to Pakistan. I think this is the joke of the decade. It is a well-known fact that cricketing ties were stalled in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks in 2008. Unless the government of Pakistan stops cross-border terror attacks and hands over Dawood Ibrahim, Miandad’s relative by marriage, it is impossible for India to play the bilateral series.
