As the initial enthusiasm over Pakistan cooperating with India in apprehending the perpetrators of the Pathankot attack fades, we see that Pakistan has not done much at its end. Contrary to previous information, Pakistan now claims that Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Maulana Masood Azhar, the suspected mastermind of the Pathankot attack, has not been arrested but placed in protective custody. It appears even this probe will go the way of the earlier 26/11 terror attack probe.
