There simply seems no end to the nationalism debate in the country with NIT Srinagar being the latest place of conflict. From a neutral point of view, it is hard to understand the stand of both the parties. The actions of the govern-ment have been very baffling and premature. On the other hand, certain hatemongers are leaving no stone unturned to inflame communal tensions in the country. It is sad that the “Bharat Mata ki Jai” debate has stalled other issues of importance in the country.
