Despite this facile win, Team India is lagging behind in run rate with a showing of -0.895, whereas table leaders New Zealand and Pakistan have a positive run rate. The win against Pakistan is commendable but at the same time the big loss against New Zealand has turned the tables against India as the cloud for qualifying for the semi-finals remains to be cleared.
