It could mar the AAP’s poll prospects as Punjab was the only state where the party has the chance of bagging few seats outside Delhi. Also, the AAP is facing the prospect of a vertical split after its state convenor Sucha Singh Chhotepur was sacked over allegations of bribery. AAP’s Punjab state in-charge Sanjay Singh needs to devise a strong strategy to combat Sindhu and the Akali Dal.
