Road to nowhere

The need to initiate a dialogue with various stakeholders in Kashmir is a road to nowhere. In the past, many governments at the Centre have tried to initiate back-channel talks with the separatists in Kashmir, but to no avail. In fact they backfired, as the Valley witnessed violence instead of a healing touch. I am not excited about the Centre’s bid to hold talks with all stakeholders.
