Fears of Islamic terror in Orlando driving Afghan-American Omar Mateen to kill 50 people at a gay bar have been turned on their head by the revelation that Mateen himself frequented the bar and may have been a closet homosexual. Motive apart, what helped Mateen execute the attack was the fact that the US Constitution gives Americans the right to bear arms. This is something the US needs to address soon to prevent deadlier lone-wolf attacks.
