The party tried hard to save the government in the north-eastern state but failed as 42 MLAs joined the regional party. The political turbulence continues ever since the President’s Rule was enforced in the state. The Congress government in Karnataka could not control Cauvery riots and Bengaluru city was in shambles. The party is digging its own graveyard.
