As a result of the Supreme Court scrapping the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for admissions to medical institutions, students will now have to appear for the second phase of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test. In this context, students should be given some grace marks to compensate them for being at a disadvantage vis-à-vis NEET as they are forced to appear for the exam at such short notice.
