In a documentary titled India’s Daughter, by Leslee Udwin, one of the perpetrators of the Dec. 16 rape said that girls who step out at night are “more responsible” for being raped. BJP MLA Om Prakash Sharma called AAP’s Alka Lamba “raat bhar ghumne wali”. Until this mindset about women changes, women in Delhi will continue to fear for their safety.
