Along with Mr Modi, there are many from within the Modi Cabinet who are RSS members. The RSS sees itself as an army battling for India’s soul. Along with the shift from khaki shorts to brown trousers, it is hoped that the RSS changes its ideological stance too and helps in nation-building.
