However, this approach hasn’t translated into anything concrete for the nation in terms of money till now. The rising retail inflation and the decrease in industrial output are worrisome. It is important that the Budget delivers on promises of ease of doing business and expansion of the job market. Otherwise, industry and citizens alike shall not be too kind while evaluating Mr Modi on his Budget “exam”.
