By minting false '1,000 notes with Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s photo on them and the fox replacing the Ashokan capital, the BJP has disrespected national icons and symbols. Subjecting Indian currency to such excesses to score political brownie points debases its importance. The BJP should refrain from such childish retorts.
