BJP leader Subramanian Swamy filed a complaint before the trial court in 2012 alleging that Congress leaders were involved in cheating in the acquisition of the assets of Associated Journals Ltd by Young Indian Pvt Ltd, in which Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Motilal Vora, Oscar Fernandes, etc., are shareholders. The Delhi high court recently dismissed the petitions filed by Congress leaders in the case. Whether the National Herald case has any merit or not has to be decided by the judiciary.
