Kohli, the saviour

The match between India and Pakistan at Mirpur was a real thriller. Captain M.S. Dhoni was fortunate to have won the toss and elected to field, scuttling out Pakistan for merely 84 runs. But fast bowler Mohammad Amir, back in the Pakistan team after serving a ban, almost put paid to Dhoni’s hopes of a win by reducing India to eight for three wickets. Virat Kohli’s 49 was a saving grace. It may not be out of place to mention that the umpiring was very poor. The ICC should look into that and take corrective measures.
