Keep Delhi swachch

The strike by 60,000 sanitation workers of the three municipal bodies of Delhi ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party, who are protesting non-payment of dues, has led to a pile-up of garbage across Delhi. This is harmful to the city’s health. While the MCDs are busy trading allegations with the Delhi government, Delhi’s condition is worsening. Instead of alleging corruption in the municipalities, the state government should immediately bring an end to the crisis by paying the workers’ dues. It can investigate the corruption charges later. Not every crisis is an opportunity for political agitation.
