It is heartening to see that the killers of Keenan Santos and Reuben Fernandes have been sentenced to life imprisonment (till death) by the sessions court. It is indeed a fair verdict. Now the souls of the departed can rest in peace. Thank God it was not another Jessica Lal case where the killers were initially acquitted as they were known to the police and the politicians, in spite of there being clear evidence of the accused having committed the crime.
