This is with reference to your editorial, Hindi bias at film awards (March 31). I agree that it will not be an exaggeration if we call national awards “Bollywood awards”. We know that there’s no need to promote Hindi movies; it is other regional language films that need our attention and appreciation. Otherwise regional movies will gradually fade into oblivion. The jury should remain unaffected by a movie’s commercial success or the image of actors.
