The former Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change chairman has survived a sexual harassment case while the victim has been forced to leave Teri.
Mr Pachauri’s appointment is an indictment of how lightly sexual harassment is taken in India. It is also a huge letdown for women who are targeted sexually in the workplace. Aparna Singh Poddar New Delhi
