However, Mr Modi should also understand the plight of our farmers, who are at the mercy of the distributors and wholesalers, as they are forced to sell their produce at low prices. They are at the mercy of the agents and middlemen. As a result, debt starts piling which becomes a vicious cycle. We should pay attention to improve the health of our farmers.
