The Proteas pushed India to the brink at Ferozeshah Kotla. South African skipper Hashim Amla’s 25 runs off 200 balls and A.B. de Villiers’ 43 off 297 balls were testimony to the side’s skill-set making them the number one Test team in the world. R. Ashwin’s bowling and Ajinkya Rahane’s centuries in both innings made the victory memorable. It is hoped the young Indian side imbibed the lessons in defence imparted by the Proteas in Delhi. Cheers to Team India!
