A grim future

This is in response to Sunanda K. Datta-Ray’s article, Haryana’s gimmicks: Is this India’s future (Sept. 13). National unity statue, bullet trains, “recovery” of Saraswati river, gau mata, — yes, gimmicks form the future of Haryana and India with all ills of hunger, poverty, illiteracy, child labour, child trafficking and joblessness being consigned to oblivion.
