Pavan K. Varma’s article Two years, too many betrayals (May 8) has rightly mentioned the failures of the present dispensation on most fronts. It’s true that almost all vulnerable sections of society, particularly the youth, are totally disillusioned with the NDA due to lack of jobs. They will wholeheartedly wish for the Opposition parties to come together. But keeping in view the track record of corruption when the UPA was in government, the Congress may prove to be the proverbial “kebab mein haddi”.
