This is with reference to your editorial Rahul stands up for party’s core beliefs (September 3). There is no difference between the RSS and RSS people when Rahul Gandhi held RSS responsible for Mahatma Gandhi’s murder. After all, an organisation consists of people, its members. However, if Mr Gandhi had said “some RSS people” killed the Mahatma, there would have been no case for defamation. Also, it is ironic that Mr Gandhi is defending Mahatma’s principles when his party has violated them over the years and moved from non-violence and truth to realpolitik.
